APPLIED ART

Based on clients’ criteria, needs and vision I apply design, art and aesthetics to objects of function.

Graphic Design:

I plan, research, analyze
and create visual solutions to
communication challenges.
I prepare layouts for print
with the aid of computer
graphics programs. I apply
artwork, photography, type
and other visual elements to
achieve the set-up design goals.

Murals:

Listening closely to clients’
personal vision, I custom design
and paint directly on walls to
beautify and celebrate any space.
With high quality water-base
paints, I create unique, fine art
murals, in various painting
styles and techniques.

Textile Design:

I design original textile art for
silk screen printing and paint
color-ways. I apply graphic
design and fashion illustration
for presentation, product
development and promotion.

FINE ART

Visual expression has always been the language with which I feel most comfortable - where self-expression flows easily and fluently.
It begins for me, where the word ends, when it is silent. Nevertheless I embrace, appreciate, and am naturally drawn to words spoken, printed and scripted, of modern and ancient languages. I have always been interested in finding the meeting place where the visual and the literal go hand in hand.
The idea of matchmaking excites me. By pairing image and word, heart and mind, intuition and reason, brushstroke and pixel, I hope to make social, personal and visual statements. I believe non-verbal languages have the power to unite where verbal expression may fail. I am grateful to be able to ‘speak’ such a language.
